The former company use to be the Shenzhen subsidiary of Harbin Coslight Storage Battery Co.Ltd. that has been listed in the Hongkong stock exchange. It has been 4 years since Coslight started his career in Shenzhen.
In Apirl 1999, the technology of Lithium-ion battery of Coslight had been accredited by the Science and Technology Consortium of Heilongjiang Province. In the middle of 1998, Coslight imported advanced production line and equipments for testing and checking form Japan and U.S. in succession, which provided Coslight a perfect foundation for being the top manufacture and pack designer.
Zhuhai Coslight Electronic Technology Co.Ltd. has a building area covers 9600 square meters, and 460 employees which includes 75 R&D staffs. There are 4 main workshops respectively for model, molding, pasting and electronic parts assembling. The capacity of Coslight now is 30 modelling and 1,000,000 moldings per month, 50,000 pasting, 30,000 packs and 5,000 chargers per day. By the end of 2005, Coslight planed to improve the production capacity by more investment.
Coslight made its own <<Quality Control Manual>> according to QS9000 to manage the quality system, and that is the guarantee of the quality for all types of Coslight packs.
Coslight has already been the supplier of many cellphone and PDA manufacturers both in domestic and abroad, such as Kyocera, Eastcom, UT starcom, Southtec, ZTE, Capitel, Konka and CECT.
